Positive Puppy Social in action! The focus of this class is to provide puppies up to 4 months of age with positive social experiences.
FREE when you register for class! ($25 for attending the Orientation session without signing up for a program. The $25 will be charged in the event the class enrollment is paid, but subsequently cancelled.)
When you attend Orientation, you'll receive a professionally designed handout packet to compliment our PowerPoint presentation. Orientation prepares new students for how to successfully manage your dog in class, as well as why teaching attention and calm behavior are important in training, suggested equipment, materials needed, discussion about the importance of canine enrichment, and a question and answer session.
All new students, (whether for classes, privates, or day school) are required to attend our Orientation Class; students currently enrolled in class are always invited to attend to learn what's new!
This Orientation is for people only! Please leave your dog at home. Please bring a copy of your dog's veterinary vaccination statement for our records.
Please bring your form of payment: cash, check, credit card or Google Pay.

PLEASE NOTE - Our programs are not appropriate for aggressive dogs. With the exception of our Space Dogs(c) class, our group classes are not appropriate for reactive dogs. Our group classes are not appropriate for a dog with a bite history.
School aged children may attend classes with their parents (as long as they aren't disruptive).
Choke collars, prong collars , E-collars (shock, stim, etc.), stretchable (bungee type) and retractable leashes are not permitted.
Instructors retain the right to excuse a student’s attendance in a specific class and/or event. We’ll recommend a more appropriate class or program for your dog according to the dog’s age, maturity, and behavior.

We accept cash, checks and credit card payments. NO other forms of payment are accepted at this time. Payment is due prior to the start of our services.

4 weeks: Begin by attending the New Student Orientation session, complete a registration form and bring a copy of your pups vaccinations.
This class is for pups between the ages of 10 weeks – 16 weeks. Upon completion of the 4 week class, pups may drop in as frequently as age permits at the regular drop-in rate. Introduce your preadolescent puppies to positive social experiences in a controlled environment! Activities include ball & bottle pool, textures, sounds, smells and managed interaction/play with other puppies to reduce arousal. Enjoy social interaction, appropriate play, and introduction to obedience cues. This class does not focus on teaching obedience. Receive a $10 off our STAR Puppy Plus class upon completion of all 4 sessions!
6 weeks Begin by attending the New Student Orientation session, complete a registration form and bring a copy of your pups vaccinations.
This is a 6-week class integrated with the AKC STAR Puppy program. This program is for puppies from 4 months to one year of age. In this class we help you navigate your pup moving out of puppyhood into adolescence. We address, jumping, biting, mouthing and chewing as well as basic obedience cues adjusted to your pups attention level. All family members are encouraged to participate, including all school age children! Attendance of 6 classes is required by the AKC to be recognized as a STAR Puppy. 6 weeks Begin by attending the New Student Orientation session, complete a registration form and bring a copy of your pups vaccinations.
Beginner Obedience/Manners: This is a 6-week class for dogs 1 year and older. The goal of this class is to have all members of the family work with their dog in a confident and consistent manner. The family will be taught to address impulse control behaviors as well as establish proper communication with their dog. Dogs are now moving from adolescence to social maturity, which means behaviors that were a nuisance during adolescence may now be more problematic. Training cues taught include: SIT, DOWN, WAIT, RECALLS, LOOSE LEASH WALKING, STAY, LEAVE IT, and SETTLE, and behaviors such as JUMPING, MOUTHING AND CHEWING are addressed.
How to teach your dog to be more attentive you when out for a walk.
Always begin with getting your dog's attention. Intersperse directional changes while targeting your dog to be in proper position.
4 weeks: This class is a fun way for teams to practice obedience and hone their obedience skills! Even if you have no plans to compete, this class will help you enhance your relationship with your dog! Behaviors such as focused heeling, the difference between stationary behaviors, moving behaviors and change of direction, as well as execution of Rally Novice signs, rules and regulations. Your dog must be able to walk well on a loose leash.
You can now compete in Rally virtually! Periodically we'll have virtual drop in sessions.
Class is limited to 6 dogs
TBD @ 6pm $20 Depending on the number of participants, each person will have at least 2 runs.
Have you taken a Rally class and think you might like to try competition? You can combine virtual Rally with in person Rally to achieve your title!
We'll set up the course and tripod and be there to offer advice. The rest is up to you and your dog!

4 weeks/$115: Prerequisite is completion of a STAR Puppy OR Basic level class.
One of our most popular classes! This class is designed to help your dog transition from a foundation class to a more advanced class such as the Canine Good Citizen.
Improve your skills with Doggy Drills! Each week focuses on those behaviors owners often find the most challenging: Leave It, Wait, Stay and Loose Leash Walking. These behaviors are worked on while using the 4 D's of dog training: Duration, Distance, Distractions and Diversity.
Class is limited to 8 dogs.
4 weeks: Minimum requirement completion of a STAR Puppy or Basic level class. One of our most popular classes!
If your basic obedience is feeling a bit humdrum, have fun with your dog in our tricks class! This class is an introduction to tricks and is for anyone who’s completed a STAR Puppy, Basic Obedience or CGC class.
Having difficulty with STAY? Watch your dog learn to hold a stay while sitting on a platform! Learn to use a combination of luring and shaping to teach your dog novice level tricks. CGC title holders only need 5 tricks to achieve their Novice Trick Dog title!
Class is limited to 8 dogs.
6 WEEKS: This class will prepare owners and their dogs with the skills needed to prepare for the Canine Good Citizen Test at graduation. This level will introduce heeling, as well as intermediate to advanced communication techniques and behaviors. Test only: $20 without taking the class (reservation requested).

6 WEEKS: Reactive dogs need space! Do you have a red hot chili dog or a yellow chicken dog? Does your dog bark and lunge at people, dogs, or things (skateboards, bicycles, cars)? Then you have a Hot Dog who needs Space!
Please note: This class is not suitable for dogs who have aggressively bitten a person or attacked another dog.
This 6 week course is designed for the people to learn to how manage their dogs. It may take a minimum of 12 weeks of classes for the dogs and people to learn to relax in a stressful situation. Once this occurs learning may begin, so that we're able to modify and see measurable changes in a dog’s behavior.
A session on Body Language is taught the first night without the dogs present (60~90 minutes).
This class is designed to teach the pet parent to recognize triggers so that they and their dog learn to relax and minimize arousal when in a stimulating situation. This goal is to teach the handler how to manage and redirect their dog without extreme corrections or physical punishment.
This class is limited to 5 dogs.
4 WEEKS Dogs of all ages who've taken a STAR Puppy or Basic class.
